The Navy College program for Afloat College Education (NCPACE), was designed to enhance navy sailors with high quality learning opportunities from accredited post secondary institutions.
It was created to provide men on board the opportunity to receive the same quality education opportunities that the sailors on shore receive. Tuition for this NCPACE is 100% funded. Books and material costs are the student’s responsibility.
The courses are constructed in Instructor led (IL) and Distance Learning (DL). Distance learning classes are managed by Ipod, PDA, and CD-ROM.
Participates must request a waiver to participate while in non-deployable status. Personnel on temporary assignment to the command must have sufficient time to participate in classes. All active duty members assigned to Navy ships under the MSC are eligible to participate as long as minimum enrollments are met.

All undergraduate courses are from institutions with Navy (SOCNAV) affiliation to ensure proper transferring of credits and earning a degree.
