As a active duty soldier you can take advantage of the Montgomery GI Bill and Tuition Assistance (TA) Program to help pay for a college education.You can get up to $70,000 (depending on how long you enlist). All you have to do is give $100 a month during your first year of service.

The Servicemembers’ Opportunity Colleges (SOC) are a network of 1,900 colleges and universities whose programs are designed especially to help meet the higher education needs of service members. - Health Care
As an Active Duty Soldier, you and your family are eligible to receive medical and dental care at little or no cost. You can receive treatment within the Military’s network of hospitals and clinics. The official military health insurance provider is called Tricare. It is available for all Active Duty Enlisted and Officers. - Life Insurance
A major concern of service members with families is whether they have enough life insurance. The Military offers excellent benefits and competitive insurance rates. You’ll also receive comprehensive medical and dental care. In addition, you’ll get full pay and allowances for any sick days you may need to take, and they offer low-cost life insurance up to $400,000. - Military Leave
One of the great benefits of today’s military is Leave. The Leave program is designed to allow service members to use their authorized leave to the maximum extent possible. The leave program allows service members to relieve the pressure and stress of today’s military duty by being able to spend time with families, take care of emergencies and just relax and recuperate.
