Do you have integrity, courage and the will to succeed? Are you college bound? Are you a leader? The Army ROTC may be for you.
Are you interested in aviation, nursing, medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, chemistry, engineering, public relations, finance, law, intelligence, psychology, or transportation?
These are just a few of the career opportunities the Army offers. Army ROTC classes are electives available at over 600 colleges and universities and the Army ROTC has produced top politicians, financiers, entrepreneurs, and astronauts. You can let the Army ROTC help you shape your future and make your dreams a reality.
In the Army ROTC you will be surrounded with outstanding students from around the country. The Army ROTC will hone your leadership skills and as an officer in the US Army you will have the opportunity to shape the Army’s future, culture and doctrine.
Some of the options offered by the Army ROTC are 2, 3, and 4 year scholarships that cover tuition and fees up to $68,000, living expenses of up to $4,000 a year as well as an annual allowance for books. ROTC scholarships are awarded to applicants regardless of the cadet’s families’ financial status and are based solely on merit. Army ROTC students who receive an Army ROTC scholarship or enter the Army ROTC Advanced Course must agree to complete a period of service with the Army. Selected Cadets may serve part-time in the US Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a career in the civilian arena.
Enrolling in the Army ROTC Basic Course does NOT require a commitment to serve in the Army unless you are the recipient of an Army ROTC scholarship.
Army ROTC requires that you be a US Citizen, over 17 years of age. Some other requirements are that you take the SAT or Act by November of the year you apply, and that you maintain an excellent academic record. (additional requirements)
