- Apply OnlineYou will submit the information needed to join the Army through its website. An Army recruiter will contact you to determine if you have the qualifications necessary to become part of the finest military organization in the world.
- Talk to a RecruiterThink of an Army recruiter as your guide to the Army and the best resource to answer questions about joining. Recruiters are ready with the know-how to help navigate your military future.
- Take the ASVAB testThe Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is a multiple-choice test that helps you better understand your strengths and is one of the things that helps identify which Army job is best for you.
- Go through MEPSThe Military Entrance Processing Station is where you’ll go to join the Army. You will get a full physical, select your Military Occupational Specialty (your job) and be sworn in as a Soldier in the U.S. Army.
Once you’ve taken the ASVAB, passed your physical and chosen a career path, you are ready to move on to the important training necessary to becoming a Soldier: Basic Combat Training, Boot Camp!
