There are almost 200 different Military Occupation Specialties (MOS) available to enlisted Army Soldiers. From working with computers to assisting doctors to fixing helicopters, there are numerous exciting fields for men and women. Most of these are not the combat jobs that people associate with the Army. Below are examples of enlisted jobs that can be found in the U.S. Army. Finance, Administration and Religion
The Army offers careers focused in Finance, Administrative, religion and more. You have options such as, a financial management technician, human resources specialists, HR computer specialists, and a Chaplain Assistants.

Combat
Among the different jobs associated with combat,The Infantry Field includes four Army enlisted jobs (MOS’s). Infantry is the oldest and largest branch in the US Army combat arms. These jobs are only available to men.

There is only one Army enlisted MOS under the legal field is a Paralegal Specialist. They assist judges, Army lawyers and unit commanders with legal matters and judicial work.
The Law Enforcement field includes three Army enlisted MOS’s. The Army’s Military Police can be utilized during offensive operations, defensive operations, stability operations, and civil support operations.

Aviation, Air Defense and Transportation
There are 20 Army enlisted MOS’s included in the Aviation Field. They work with a variety of Army helicopters including; OH58 Kiowa, UH60 Black Hawk, CH47 Chinook, and AH64 Apache.
The Air Defense includes seven enlisted MOS’s. The jobs in this field concentrate on implementation tactics, techniques and procedures for the employment of air defense systems. In addition to Aviation and Air Defense there are also nine enlisted MOS’s in the Transportation Field. The Transportation Corps is responsible for moving supplies, troops and equipment anywhere in the world.
